2015 Commission Season!

I'm opening slots now for my commission list for 2015!  Seems a bit late, but with the illustrations I've been doing as part of my work, I didn't really have a lot of time to work on other things.  Now that the art side of my workload is dying down, I can start working on commissions again.

To reflect, and encourage, the development I felt my work has had of late (and to ensure better consistency in my output), I'm going to be simplifying my commission pricing and packages.  Basically, I'm not going to do "simple" illustrations for the time being.  That means no "lineart only" and "no background" pieces, and I'll be devoting more time and effort in producing full, colored illustrations.

My flat rate per illustration for this series will be US$50.00.  These will be fully painted and colored, on A4 scale canvases.  My background skills are still developing, so I cannot promise super-detailed environments, but I will do what I can based on the available space and the layout of the work.

Some other basic rules I'm going to lay down:

Multiple characters are possible, but only to a maximum of 3, to ensure that each character is given adequate space and detail.

Violence, gore and nudity are allowable, to the extent of DeviantArt's guidelines.

Low-res versions of completed works will be displayed here on my DeviantArt Gallery, as well as my Facebook page.  Due to FB's stricter content guidelines, images depicting violence, gore, and nudity will either be censored, or not posted at all.

Got all that?  Here's how to order a commission!

Contact me through DeviantArt Notes with the details of your commission request.  If you have references for characters you want to see (and especially if you are ordering an illustration of your own Original Characters), please include any images or links to images for those characters.  I don't need full character bios, but some information about personalities and powers will help me keep your character in... um... character.

Please provide a proper, working email address.  I will use that address to send you updates and the completed, full-sized illustration.

I accept payment through Paypal. If I take on your project, you would need to submit payment, which I will confirm prior to starting work.

Upon confirmation of your payment, I will sketch out layouts based on the details of your request.  I may do more than one layout, of which you can choose which one will be used for the final commission.
