Tekken 7's Josie Rizal, as a way of celebrating Philippine Independence Day!
I love all of the cultural detail Namco's artists put into her design, but damn, was it a challenge to paint! It's quite nice to have your country included in a title like this, and from what I hear, it was the game director's way of thanking the Filipino game community for their support of the Tekken series.
It might also be noted that Josie is not the first Filipino character to be featured in a Namco fighting game. That honor goes to Talim, of the Soul Caliber series, but Josie's design is by far more obvious with the cultural references.
Now, if only Capcom can create a Filipino character for Street Fighter...?
